nooooo! when i was a kid I slept with mine one night and it somehow recorded me snoring. Next morning comes and I thought it was growling at me!! Scared the crap out of me...and that was the end of my raltionship with Teddy. He creeped me out so much I had to give it to my cousin.
I remember the teddy. I don't know if my siblings had one but I do know my brother got My Buddy! I can still hear the theme song for the commericials..."my buddy, my buddy, wherever he goes, I go!" A doll for boys. It scared my brother though just to look at it, so it stayed in the closet.

LMAO--that's funny. Sorry to laugh at your childhood traumatic event but that made me chuckle.

hahah, this is so funny. They really ARE creepy toys, i can't believe how universally scared we were as kids of these toys. Giving them to cousins, hiding them in closets...anything to keep them away. Its like our parents giving us a Chuckie doll or something.
OMG!! I hated Teddy! And My Buddy was even worse. Does anyone remember Kid Sister? The girl version of My Buddy? Scary. I hate dolls. They frighten me. I'll take my Pow-Pow-Power Wheels any day over that crap. Or at least my Hotwheels.
