do i need this? i really like it. i have nowhere to wear it to, but i think it would be cool for the spring/summer next year. and i love the material and halter style. i guess i could even do chunky sweater and boots for fall. but it's almost $400.

It's pretty and I can see how you could throw a sweater on with it to wear during the winter, but it still doesn't seem that practical to me. It could be a cool "out to a nice dinner" dress, but $400 seems steep for that kind of thing. You could get a lot of other cool things for $400, but that is my opinion. Sleep on it awhile and see if you still want it.
ok i might be over the dress cuz i realized that i would really have to be tan to wear it. what about this shirt? last one i promise.

too much. $275. i'm looking for a long sleeve, fun shirt, similar to one that i bought a while ago that i feel amazing in, and can pull out and know that i look good in it. even if it has a pattern everyone will remember. i think this shirt would be fun with my purple bulga, gold or silver heels, etc. and i would rather fork over more for a shirt that i love than buy a ton. also, i'm almost done with my fall shopping, except for the odd bcbg item here and there. i'm still torn at the price tag since it's the most i've ever spent on a shirt.

It's really pretty, but that's a lot of dough. Someone posted a gorgeous patterned kimono top a few weeks ago that was around $100, but of course I can't remember whose post it was or where the top was from. dammit!
