I just thought of something - I'll be wearing this dress and possibly these shoes (just ordered them - thanks to you ladies) to a wedding reception in Nov. I don't know why I didn't think about it before - but it may be pretty cold by then.  I hate pantyhose.  Any other options???  I don't want to mess up my look - should I just tough it out or will I look funny bare leg in possibly cold weather??  I usually don't have this much trouble with outfits, promise!

I think you could go bare legged and look fine, but if you're really concerned about being cold you could do sheer navy hose:

Or nude fishnets or some other form of textured tights.  Dillards, Target, Kohl's and sometimes TJMaxx have a good selection of hoisery and tights.

I'd definitely go bare legged - I don't like the idea of wearing any type of hose w/the dress and shoes.  I've gone to fall weddings and went bare legged - I think you'll be fine.

I think that you can get away with bare legs.  I did the bare leg thing to a November wedding in Michigan last year so I am sure you will be okay in Kentucky;).

I definitely would go bare-legged. I've been to holiday cocktail parties in December and gone bare-legged. I do not wear panyhose unless forced.

Bare legged is fine.  I really like the heels you chose to go with the dress--the detailing on the heel is really nice.
