I understand why H&M dropped her, although I think it's stupid that they have to, but I feel like it was unneccessary for Burberry and Chanel to do the same. I guess I kind of feel like Kate's drug habits are her business, and shouldn't affect her career in this way. Although I do think it makes sense that coke is illegal, I don't get why the public has to police her. Although the article did say she did 5 lines in 40 min. Wow! And also when the Mirror asked her dad to comment he said, "It doesn't surprise me." Hahaha.

hahaha, funny that her dad said that.

I read Chanel's contract had just ended, and was going to end in October regardless.  Not sure the deal with Burberry- but hasn't she already been in their fall ads?  I feel like i've seen her all over the magazines.  Do they not have to pay her now?  Is she just never going to model for them again?  Because what if they want her later...?  Whatev, i hope she slows down on the coke for her healths sake, but i still think she's very unique looking and i like to see photos of her.

In my Corporate Public Affairs Class last night we were talking about ethics, so of course I brought this up. My professors comment was that H and M could have done a worse job at the whole thing, but they would have had to try pretty hard.

Everything else aside (I love Kate Moss so this just makes me really sad), I think that it was ridiculous for them to say "ok, we'll keep you if you clean up" and then the next day just be like "oh, never mind about that. you're done." wtf?

I totally agree with this. Changing their mind 24 hours later after there were no new events in the situation seemed a little ridiculous.
