Spa treatments

Long story short, I'm going to the Atlantis in the Bahamas this weekend. Yeah, I went in May but my parents are going to be down there with friends and I've been having a crummy month. The suggested this weekend that I come down if I could find a reasonable ticket. I did and so I'm headed down for weekend of rest, relaxation, sun and great food.

My goal is to forget about law school and related drama. I've already booked a deep tissue massage. I'm contemplating other treatments... specifically a body scrub or body wrap. Has anyone had versions of either of these in a spa? What was it like? Was it relaxing or comfortable? Results? Any awkwardness... like standing naked in front of a stranger?

TIA

Here's the spa menu and the services they offer...

I did a lemon-grass body scrub at Natural Body here in Atlanta and it was amazing!!!

I wasn't naked, but the towel was very tiny and they would lift to get some areas. It was so soothing having it rubbed into your skin, then after the scrub set for about 15 min. I took a shower came back to my tiny towel and they rubbed in oil to soak into my skin. My skin looked fabulous, since you are getting scrubbed the oil really just soaks in, so you are not greasy. I would highly suggest that! I actually want to go now!

I had a scrub and wrap combo once.  The scrub was first, and she covered my torso with a towel and moving it around depending where she was scrubbing (much like a massage).  The room had its own shower, so she stepped out while I rinsed off the scrub.  Then she massaged oils into my skin for the wrap part, put warm towels around me and then wrapped me in foil.  I felt like a hot dog!  I stayed like that for 20 minutes, while the oils absorbed.  It was amazing.

I've done all sorts of polishes and scrubs and wraps and I love them all.

I used to be REALLy shy and awkward about being naked, but when I got there, the tech was really professional and made me feel comfortable.

And then I was like  screw it, she's probably seen worse.  So I just stopped worrying about being naked, let it all hang oout (figuratively speaking, of course), and just stopped caring about trying to cover myself all the time.

After I relaxed, it was a great experience.
