I'm 24. I have a million weddings this year and thankfully only 2 will have the same group of people, so I was hoping to get 1 dress and wear it to almost all of them. Is this pretty or do I have "sale googles" and "I'm frustrated with shopping" goggles on?

I think it's classic and would work nicely as a workhorse dress for all those weddings. That said, will it carry you through summer? It feels very fall-like to me.

I'm not loving it. It's not bad. I just I don't know if it'd be a dress you'd want to wear over and over? I think that it's sort of a "one look" dress. Personally, I'd be bored by it after two wears and end up buying a new dress for the other events. Maybe a plainer dress that you could switch up the look with accessories would work better as a workhorse wedding guest dress?
I also have to say, I'm not loving that tie thingy on the neck in the back. What exactly is it for?
Thanks, ladies. It sounds pretty unanimous that this is not the dress for me, at least not for a slew of summer weddings! You have saved me from a pretty steep price tag on return shipping to the UK
Boots - I don't get the tie thing either. Reminds me of a bathing suit. I figured I'd cut it off if I got the dress

Oooo I hadn't even though of a convertible dress. I'd have to shop around to find one that doesn't look so clingy - I'm not sure I have the body for that particular one!
Does anyone here have one you love?

I like the purple dress but it's definitely a fall thing. Honestly if it were me I'd go with one LBD and accessorize it differently for different occasions.

I hear ya. I liked the one that AA makes but that would be too casual. Just stumbled upon this etsy page - looks like she caters to bridesmaids mostly but you can buy a single dress and they look so much more flattering.
