STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

I'm suppose to read it by Monday and that just isn't going to happen. I read the summary of it and I'm pretty grossed out by the ending. Cutting out bowels huh? So, any tips, ideas, symbolms, or themes I should know about? I know this is kinda a long shot but I thought maybe HB and/or other lit majors could help me out. Thanks girls!
