I am quest of "skinny jeans" that can be worn tucked-in to high boots. I've been on this search for about 2.5 yrs and never found one that fit right or in my price range.. . i hate trying to tuck in jeans that bunch up inside...
Maybe I am destined not to "get" this look since I am about 5'3" and size 4.
Does anyone know where to get a pair about $50 or so? I don't want to spend a lot for something I won't wear that often..
The skinniest pair of jeans I own is from Mavi. I can stuff them in my Fryes and they don't bunch up or anything, but I have muscular calves so I can't really wear anything too skinny. I got them at Nordie's for around $50.
I'm around 5' 3" and a size 4 on a good day so I know how you feel. I've come to the conclusion that this skinny pant thing isn't for me.
another thing to try for skinny jeans is forever 21 or more urban brands like parasuco. i also have gone to malls that are a little more low budget into no name stores (litrally no name over the door) and found jeans that are SUPER tight and fitted for the tuck in the boots thing. the jeans at forever 21 run short for me but they are great for the tuck in the boot thing because i don't care if they are a little short. i am only 5'4 and wear a size 4 but i have very long legs so pants/jeans can easily run short on me.
Thanks everyone - I'll admit I haven't been to the mall in a while (moved and still on a serious budget constraint). I'll definitly check out the Levi's (thanks for the style #) and Mavi's. I've never had luck with finding anything more tapered than a bootcut at Forever 21... maybe I'll try again. Thanks again!
levis has them. they have super skinny ones and straight leg ones (posted pics & links). the straight ones are on sale for $27 at sears (i actually started this response earlier, but stopped to pick up the jeans at sears). the straight leg ones are really flattering and skinny enough to tuck in. though they're kind of long.
