my messenger finally gave out (may he rest in peace), so i've been looking for a replacement, and i came across this:


ani medium nadia cargo sac (about $320 shipped w/ coupon)


it fits the bill in terms of color (i luuurve the color), hardware, size, not too trendy and the strap is adjustable to make it hip length.  the problem is that i've pre-ordered the kooba sienna in olive


(~$530 shipped w/ coupon). should i stick with the kooba and get a cheap messenger, or go with the ani and cancel the kooba?


i really liked the kooba, but now my enthusiasm is waning after i saw this one.  thoughts? opinions? for that matter, has anyone seen this sucker in person?  i don't want to waste my money on return shipping if the quality is, for lack of a better word, crap.

I love the Ani! The Kooba's cool but there are so many knock offs now I'm just not excited about it.

I like the ani too. I loooove the Kooba, but I can see you carrying the ani every day for the next 10 years, and not looking dated.

You sound like you would be much happier with the Ani, plus it's cheaper anyway. I would never spend $530 on a bag that was only 'so-so' to me.

The brown bag looks all scratched up.  The green bag...nothing special, I see look alikes everywhere and am not to fond of the color.

I think the brown leather bag is supposed to look distressed, hence the "scratched up" marks.

That Ani is gorgeous, the leather looks so perfect all worn in and the perfect brown. The Sienna is gorgeous as well but the Ani has just a little something more original about it.

I like the Ani better too.  Plus, I have a feeling it will age well, like the leather will turn all soft and supple and look nice and distressed.  I think it's styling is a bit more classic as well and you won't look dated carrying it in a year or two, like halleybird said.
