What do you do to Spoil Yourself?

Just wondering what you girls do to spoil/pamper yourself?

Here's some things I do:

* Get my nails done

* Get a pedicure

* Take a bubble bath

* Buy myself something new

* Reading trashy magazines like US Weekly and In Touch

* Spending the day watching my Felicity and Sex and the City dvd's.

Good poll.

I buy myself something I don't need, like perfume or bath products.

I've never considered myself an emotional eater, but the other day, I was pissed at my advisor (she yelled at me very inappropriately) and I had to get lean cuisines at the grocery store.  Well the damn cheetos were on sale (I rarely eat them but I thought I NEEDED them after the day I had), as were the bbq fritos (two for 3.00) so I had to get those.  Then I got ice cream AND cookie dough.  For some reason just buying a bunch of junk food made me feel better.

I take a personal day off to spend with my son.  His childlike innocence always renews my perspective...

Usually, shopping, but my funds are limited right now, so lately I have been settling for a Starbucks Frappuccino. I also love professional massages!

Honestly, not a whole lot, which probably attributes to my being a stress mess.  I completely scrimp on all beauty and hair products.  I don't get my nails done b/c I would mess them up making jewelry.  I do have this whirlpool/foot massage thing that my mom got me for Christmas. I have yet to use it.  I don't really shop too much unless I have saved money and it's on my list.  Gosh, I sound like Ebeneezer Scrooge.  I think I should spoil myself with a massage and a shopping spree.

Oh, wait, I thought I one thing.  I feed my magazine addiction. I subsribe to tons of mags, buy a ton more in the stores (including the obnoxious tabloids) and I sit with a glass of wine or champagne and I read them for hours and hours. Does that count?

It used to be bags, but I am proud to say that I have not fallen off the bag wagon in over a year:).

I am actually going to splurge and treat myself to a nice yoga studio.  I need some special me time and I think it is the perfect way to do that.

My 3 biggest vices in life are what spoils me: Fashion (including shopping obviously), my music (Happy hardcore and Trance) and lattes.

For minor indulgences, I soak in my tub with a book quite often and also buy multiple magazines at once

I really don't spoil myself much anymore, since I'm trying hard to save. I consider my addiction to Shiseido beauty products and Armani makeup enough of one. But if I'm having a really down day...

  • Godiva chocolate. I like to get a truffle, a chocolate covered strawberry or a macaroon.

  • Starbucks. If they have something new, I'll try it or I can always go to my trusty Caramel Light Frappucino (if I've had a bad day I get the whipped cream), or a White Chocolate Mocha.

  • A purely fun, happy piece of clothing/pair of shoes/piece of jewelry that serves little purpose other than to make me smile.

  • Massages. I have a favorite chill massage place I got to that's kinda near my work. They take walk in so I've gone a few times and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I take 2 or 3 sick/personal days per year to do nothing (my b-day is usually one of these).

I sleep in.

I eat good food (probably *too* much good food lately..heh)

-taking a bath/shower and slathering myself my most expensive, perfumey body lotions/oils, etc.
-magazines
-mmmmm hazelnut or vanilla lattes

Horrible junk food. I go to 7-11 and load up. I love cheddar and sour cream chips, cooler ranch doritos, puffy cheetos, ice cream cookie sandwiches, butterfingers, reeses', and brie (though I don't get that at 7-11). Oh, and Dunkin Donuts. And these delicious shoestring french fries at my school dipped in buttermilk ranch. I always have that when I'm hung over. I love eating! Sorry, I'm on a diet right now so it's on my mind.
