I have a pool blue strapless A-line dress. I need some sort of a sweater over it. But I have no idea what color would look good with it. Any suggestions?

how about pink, coral, or green? I'm trying to remember what pool blue is though.

I took the dress and took a scarf belt that was mainly yellows, greens and blues and tied in under the empire waist so that their is a bow in the back. I then paired it with black shoes. I am not sure if it looks weird or not, because I have no second opinion.

I think it sounds cute.  Can you put a  black shrunken short sleeve cardi over it or will that disrupt the bow?

Anything that I put over it will cover the bow since the bow is so high.
