STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

I am getting my hair cut friday and was looking for somewhere to get hair cut and color ideas.  Right now I have brown hair and it is a few inches past shoulders with layers looking grown out.  I was thinking of some sort of hair cut with a few short layers in front so when hair is pulled up they can be around the face and then choppy layers around the rest of my face.  But i have no clue.  Starting grad school on monday and i have a young looking face so want something to make me look older and more mature.  Websites would be great!
