Please be honest. Okay, my future Sister-in-law bridesmaids dresses are simular to this. She has said she doesn't really care about the shoes because no one will see them. She said black because she figured everyone would have black and it'd save money. I've been wanting these for awhile. Do you think (if the bride says it's okay) that they'd work with this color dress or should I just buy black??
IMO...if the dress is long enough to completely cover the shoes, then go with your heart's desire. If on the other hand you'll be displaying shoe during the ceremony, it's probably best to stick with the black.
I love the shoes, black and especially green, but I feel like they're not quite right in either color for that style of dress. I see those shoes more with cute skirts and trousers but that's just me.
is it possible to buy the shoes you want and just find something in your closet to go with the dress? As much as i love those shoes in black, i wouldn't get those just to go with one dress when you've wanted the green of the shoes for so long, espec. since you can't really see the shoes with the dress.

I agree w/flknight24 - I think this style of shoe just won't look right w/your dress.
The green ones could look really cool with the dress, but I think it is something you have to try one/see together to really know since we're dealing with two greens so close together.
Buy the shoes, they will look great with your wardrobe, but not the dress. I agree that you should just wear some black shoes you already own, or get some cheap ones. HTH
