What's the best vacation you've ever taken? Training was great. It was like a vacation even though we were supposed to learn something there. Met lots of people and did some things I hadn't done in a while - pool, darts, foosball (sp)

I really want to say yes but then I start thinking about it and I'm just at that point in my life where all this new stuff is going on and I don't want to give that up so I think I'd pass on it. 5. What is something you are looking forward to right now? Getting Paid this week! I've been living off my savings account for 4 months now and its really showing! After that some time off for a nice vacation to a stress free place.

6. If you were rushing out the door and only had time to apply one make-up product, which would it be? Oooh Hard one. Mascara - Dior Show. then some lip gloss in the car.

When I am around my friends they aren't judging me and I'm not having to worry about impressing them. I can finally let loose and be who I really am deep down. I can tell them my innermost feelings and no one laughs or makes fun of me and that's when I'm really happy.

I am really close with my family and it has been so hard because I am really happy here and I like my job and my new friends but I hate the fact I am so far away from my family. Its almost like I have to be sad at times in order to be happy.

3. When you look back on this year 20 years from now, what do you want to think about yourself in 2005? I want to think I made all the right decisions. This has been one of the hardest years on me change wise. Moving to Houston, taking the hard job vs. the easy job back home, breaking out of the comfort zone - living on my own, being independent, breaking up with the bf of 5 years. I just hope I can look back and know that I chose the right road and it made me a better person like I feel I am right now.

4. What is one material possession that you don't have that you really wish you did? I am in love with Pucci prints. I would LOVE some thigh high boots and a matching bag.

5. What is one non-material need in your life? I'm not really sure right now. I kinda wish that I could figure out the meaning of my life and my future but that's not happening anytime soon. I'll just settle for a hot guy calling me - doesn't even need to have anything come out of it.

I loved Sr. Ursula!! I took Chem Honors just to have her. Mrs. Messina for Bio was really good and I loved when Mrs. Harvison taught me blaw/econ.

I hated Mrs. Wag for English 3.

Shopchicago33- yeah we broke up this weekend. it was my confused post from over the weekend but I deleted it. I'm hanging in there. Its just strange to go home and not talk to him on the phone and stuff. I'm just not ready to call him to chat.

I loved Sr. Ursula too! I broke two of those huge thermometers one day with my lab partner. She was not amused. LOL Was Ms. Balkom still teaching there when you went through? Dr. Lee? I had him for Physics, and we all had a love/hate relationship with him. I had Mrs. Shields for English 3 and I loved her, but I think she left my senior year? I never had Mrs. Harvison because I took History AP (American and World) so I was with that one teacher (can't remember her name, she always rode a bike from LSU) and at Catholic, but I talked to her a lot because I was Asst Editor of the paper.

I always hated when Sr. Ursula did the who going down the row and ask you a question out of the book. I always tried to figure out which one I was going to get before she got to me and she'd always skip around in the book! I loved it when she would say jump out of the window or get in the recycle bin. At the end of the year my friend and I took a pic sitting in the recycle bin.

Ms. Balkom was still there but I didn't have her.

So funny! We are going to stay at SanDestin the Mon-Fri between Christmas & NY - I can hardly wait. And that's where I met my husband on vacation one year.

I love that moc chicken cordon bleu - you sent me that recipe. I'm making it tonight as a matter of fact. And I'm really surprised you can't find packaged crawfish? My walmart & albertsons both carry the bernards frozen package & they are anywhere between $4-6 - varies every day it seems like (even before the hurricane). You'll have to pm me that crawfish etouffee recipe....yum

Well Accounting is my second career and I chose it because I thought it would be interesting and I always did really well in my accounting classes. I started off in Information Systems wanting to be a Systems Analyst but the only job I could find was doing tech support for a Salon Software Company 45 minutes away. I hated the people at my job and hated the job itself so after a week I decided to take the GMAT and apply to go back to school and get my MS in Accounting. I am so glad I did because I really like my job right now and the people are great. I'm hoping I still like it through busy season and all. The only bad thing is that I'm finding out Accountants as a profession have a large alcoholism rate so I'm going to have to be careful on that one since every company event the drawing point is free beer!
