i think it is very "lynnie". i dont know abt the gold plating tho, that would make me hesitate on buying it, because i feel like if it were to rub off, then it wouldnt be worth it, you could probably find something else (altho, truth be told, i havent seen anything like that) for less money.
i think it's really pretty. i'm not sure about how(if) the gold plate would turn. i would think that since the brand is pretty reputable you shouldn't have a problem.
kenneth jay lane made a piece almost identical to this last year- it was a choker with one huge white piece of coral and it may have also had a turquoise beaded chain to go with the gold collar- like a second strand. It was in a Teen Vogue surf girl photo shoot and I still want it (along with other covetable teen vogue items that I still think about but weren't available- a hand lock hermes bracelet, paisley print Seychelles flats- all these things were pictured but older items so you couldn't buy them anymore- this magazine kills me, i love it so, but not really the october issue)!! This one is nice, but i like the first one more.
I love that you refer to me as a mermaid lover. So true .
I like this necklace and the one you described sounds even more beautiful! I hate it when magazines show things and then you can't find them. I like how they paired it with a flowy white tank. I bet this would look great with your white Ella Moss tank.

I think it's pretty, but I really don't like gold plating. No matter how much it costs, it will wear away eventually. It would be so much better if it was gold-filled!
