What is the perfect School Handbag?

Looking for opinions on the most stylish, classic, yet practical school handbag.  Im desperate to find one as school starts in a week and still have nothing.  Not looking for messenger or bookbags, but more of totes or satchels.

Dont really have a price range.... my two options were splurging on a handbag that is between 200-400 dollars or to buy a few cheaper ones that are under 100, just trying to get ideas right now, and not too worried about price.

i think rootote bags are pretty cute. i think fredflare and urban usually carry them.

also, queen bee has a lot of cute tote bags.
