I saw this beautiful piece of fabric awhile back and have not been able to get it out of my mind?  Do you think a pencil skirt would look pretty made from it?  It just made me think of some of the floral pencil skirts I have seen at JCrew.

I think the colors are really pretty and would work great for a pencil skirt. However, how large are the flowers? I think too small and you would look like you are wearing a couch. But really large (maybe two inches across?) would look really great, I think. It might also depend on how much of the fabric is actually the flowers. Again, too many and I think it would look like furniture fabric.

I'm not personally feeling it for a pencil skirt. I wonder how the pattern will look with the form fitting structure of a pencil skirt? Maybe an A -line skirt would work the pattern better? Something that flows a bit out from the legs.
