Deoderants?
Permalink Closed

When I am in school or out I sweat a lot. This past Friday I wore a pink blouse and even though I was sooooooooo cold in school I was sweating!! Its such a problem to me because I avoid wearing certain color shirts so that you cant see me sweating!

So my question is what deoderant do you use and does it work? I used to use Certain Dri and sometimes it would work then it would stop.

I see some girls like this and they dont even care! I dont know if its just me but I feel embarrassed to walk around with my armpits all sweaty!

Any ideas?

I strongly recommend Fresh's Sugar Roll-On Deodarant. I hate spending $16 on it but it's the only thing that has ever worked for me. I have to shave every day (so Certain Dri is not an option) and have serious perspiration issues.

You could also talk to your doctor about it - there are some stronger deoderants that they can prescribe.

I like Secret but not sure how it would hold up for you.  How about a guy's deoderant?? they are made differently so they may work better for you.

I am using Ban right now. The ads say it helps control perspiration caused by stress, which apparently is differant than the sweat caused by good ol' heat. I don't know how true this is but it works well and smells nice ( I really like the Sweet Surrender scent, even if it is a silly name). The packaging is pleasingly retro.

I'm using Ban unscented roll on right now. It's been working really well and usually nothing but Certain-Dri works for me. Also, it doesn't mark up your clothes at all and it really is completely unscented which is good because I like to only smell like the fragrance I'm wearing and deodorant smells can be really overpowering.

Thanks girls for the advice! I think I am going to try Ban and see how it works!
