So I went to Forever 21 in Times Square today and noticed that they had a huge Forever 21+ "wing."  Not sure if anyone knows or even cares, but that is the "plus" size that they had created.  I've always been a little too big for F21's larges in woven or structured items, and I find they run small so I was curious to try the line.

Most of the collection was basic knits (think black peacoat, white tee shirts, navy cardigans and black leggings).  Other items were tacky as hell, but there were some cute pieces.  Quality is all over the place with many pieces having poor stitching or awkward seams, but that is to be expected for the prices.  I ended up with one sweater.  Surprisingly, I find the sizes to run large, as I am actually a size smaller in person than what I'd expected based on the website size charts.

Well, that's my PSA.  Has anyone perused in person or stalked online?

never heard of it, but it's good they're expanding their offerings.

It is nice to know that they are offering options. Sounds like typical FF21. Some good stuff, some tacky stuff and some questionable construction. But every so often you get a really good deal. I have a few pieces that with care have held up nicely over the years.

Hmmm. I haven't shopped at F21 for a LONG time. I often see bloggers wearing stuff from there thatI like, but I haven't shopped there since I retired from the bar scene. In my college days I bought all my slutty little tank tops from there.

It is nice that they are expanding their options. I wonder why they did a seperate wing instead of just adding sizes in their line up.

Interesting point, yeah, it is in its own little nook, sorta shunned away from the rest of the world, but then again,  this store had that for their other lines as well.

I'm usually not a big F21 fan but I've found that every now and then I find a floaty top that I love and pair with a more quality basic.
