on that note, when i was in college, i double majored in psych & sociology...


in our senoir thesis type class for soc., our professor was a little crazy.  someone had mentioned on the first day of class something about a mullet.


she thought it was the greatest topic ever and made our whole class write a practice 40 page thesis on what the mullett represents.


so, i am very familiar w/ mullet websites, magazines, and any other thing you can think of.


i consider myself quite the mullet expert.


i'm not proud.

what does the mullet represent?  I've always been curious about the impulse someone feels when they sit down at a barber shop/salon and says, "yah cut it short everywhere, but the back..."


When I lived in the UK mullets were quite fashionable - not the hick mullet but a fashion mullet with a bit of bleaching to accentuate it... needless to say I had a lot of fun people watching there.

Tara T- can I just say I'm kinda interested in knowing if you still have that paper cause it might be interesting to read.  I took a geography class and we had an hour and a half lecture on white trash in the south.  Kinda interesting...
