I returned the DDF BP 5% (too weak for me), the DDF Ultra Lite Mositurizing Dew (also too weak), and the Lorac wet/dry powder foundation (no good color match) to Sephora and promptly dropped all the money I got back at the good ol' Shiseido counter. They always take care of me and my skin much better than anyone else. So I replenished my beauty stocks with

  • Bio-Performance Super Eye Contour.

  • Hydra Liquid Compact foundation (refill and compact)

  • Pureness Moisturizing Gel-Creme (mmmm my skin this)

I am paying off debt and only buying neccessities so my BF got to have all the fun clothes shopping this weekend! Boo hiss!

He got two basic Polo Raplh Lauren belts (black and brown leather) and two Le Tigre polos

We also went to Target and bought toothbrushes and toilet paper. Also went to a comic book store to get our week's fill of comic books. No we will never grow up.

LOVE this!

It's one of those things you gasp when you see it because it's fabulous.  I would like a sweater version.

I went to Macy's and reserved my living room furniture (sofa, chair, ottoman).  If anybody is considering buying furniture, the sales lady told me that on Monday the 19th, Macy's card holders will receive additional 15% off furniture!

detroit, I love your shoes and bag!  For some reason, I've been wanting a few navy pieces this season, which is strange b/c I'm not usually drawn to navy.

thank you, nyla!  yeah - deep tones of blue are supposed to be big this fall.  the bag is actually a very deep teal (color is called "petrol" - which is odd since that sounds like petroleum to me and I didn't know that was teal colored) anyway - it does look really good with the dark blue shoes...

Here's my big weekend shopping purchase:

It's a pasta roller attachment for our Kitchen Aid mixer.  It's my hubby's b-day tomorrow and he would not stop talking about this, so I had to get it for him.  I'll be eating goooooooooood tonight!

I need to do some massive shopping after payday.  I need some fall/winter clothes BAAAAAAAAAADLY!

SunshineGirl, I have been looking all over for the sweater as well! Is it worth me continuing to search? How does it fit?

Hi Lisa,

I just ordered it today. I have no idea how it is going to fit or what it looks like in person since it never came into any of my local stores.

I found it in South Carolina and it's being shipped to me. I think it was the Mount Pleasant store. I dont have their number but if you call the main BR number at 1.888.BRstyle, they will transfer you.

I wear an XS so sometimes it's hard to find that size but maybe they can be helpful regardless of size.  When i get it, i'll give you a review.

Kind of late, but it was a decent haul. I am pretty much done buying anything major until my birthday, which is at the end of Nov.

But my sister and I had great luck this weekend (she got a great pair of COH for $45)! I got:

 <--these MJs in red...only $50!

Knack Canvas Skimmer(keds...say what you will, but I love them & they were $9)

These were gifts:

Hobo International Double-Frame Clutchin a silvery color

halleybird - was the ihome alarm clock thing a gift for you or you gave it? Anyways, if you own it, could you give a review on it? I was thinking about just getting a speaker dock for my ipod, but now that I saw your post I'm interested in the alarm clock feature. How loud does the alarm clock get? I'm a heavy sleeper and need to make sure it will wake me up! TIA!
