Just for fun..  I was browsing a site today and my heart sang with every outfit.  It made me think, "Wow, this designer just *gets* me, I would buy everything she made."  So, play the game, answer why, and show some faves.

Tracy Reese - I love her feminine yet edgy styles.  She knows how to design for curves and she makes wonderful prints.

I don't love everything by Karen Millen but I love nine-tenths of it. It's professional but still edgy. It surprises me she is not better known.

that's a tough one.  I'm drawn to many, but tend to be very attracted to items by missoni.  I think it's the old-school hippy luxe in me...  I love the feel and weight of the textile, and you can fluctuate in weight and the items still look good.  They never go out of style too -- mostly classic, timeless pieces.

I'm having trouble answering this one, but I want you to know that I'm still working on it.  I think about it occasionally, and I just need to make the time to look up some designers to confirm or deny.

This is my trouble too.  I've tried to post an answer a few times, but none of them seemed "right."  I seem to like certain peices form a variety of designers, but then not care for the rest of their collection.  I like simple, sleek and structured items, so those stand out to me.

Tracy Reese! That was where I got my wedding dress. Straight from Tracy herself, too. Sort of. I called the store in NYC and spoke to a manager who told me there was one dress left and Tracy had intended to keep it. But she gave it to me! I love everything she designs. And I'm so glad to know she seems like a cool person, too.

I also love Nanette Lepore and Alice & Olivia.
