I'm in the process of losing weight - but I'm trying to do it healthfully so its going more slowly than I anticipated.  Needless to say the "I'll buy pants when I'm a size smaller" plan isn't working.  I need some fall pants... now.


Anyone have any recommendations on pants that will be kind to my belly and love handles?  I can wear jeans, khakis, whatever to work - its pretty casual.

I think pants with a slightly higher rise are helpful...like right below the belly button. I have a couple of pairs of sevens with a rise like this (dojo & mia styles). I think Gap modern fit is about that high, too, and Banana Republic's Harrison fit.
