Kabuki brush?

I have recently started using mineral makeup that I bought off of Ebay. I really like it but I have been using a regular powder brush and it says to use a kabuki brush. What is special about a kabuki? I find the powder brush can be a bit messy and the coverage is pretty sheer. Would a kabuki give me better coverage?


I don't have a Sephora so I can't check them out. Does anywhere else carry kabukis? (or else I have to order on off ebay.)

I don't have a kabuki brush but I do use mineral make up and whenever I watch the Bare Escentuals show on QVC they say the kubuki brush is for more coverage.
