Marty!!!! You & i must be on the same brain wave because I was about to post the same thing. I love love love him. I was surprised that JD pulled it off again - you know he had to change that song because he couldn't pull it off - COME ON NOW!!! but he was good - i was surprised. Poor jordis - i think she's just in over her head & she's so going home tonight

Marty- swoon! I thought JD sucked and Suzie was a bit dull last night, her cover was ok but it wasn't her best work. I was disappointed with MiG's Hard to Handle, I thought her could have done better.

I hope JD goes home, he is really starting to bug me.

speaking of mig - how gay did he look (not that there's anything wrong with that!! LOL) but I mean, man!!! I agree he wasn't pulling off a rocker vibe for hard to handle. That other dude pulled it off much better. And he so played on the "dead singer" thing - i thought that was kinda tacky - and I really like mig - although you can't tell from my post here....

LOL - this is so funny...my boyfriend and I both said "man, Mig looks real gay" during that Levi's photo shoot and last night...hahaha. I like Mig too, but Marty is my love

I really liked Marty last night, and he hasn't been one of my favorites in the past. He kind of scares me on closeups, though -- it's like he has Hilary Duff teeth or something. I feel like he's gonna eat me.

I used to be all about some MiG. Then he got all Davey Jones cheeseball (I mean, I do love me some Davey, but come. on.). Then I heard Marty sing "Don't Change". That was the turning point. Marty's my number one, but I don't really care who INXS picks. But I do want you to tell me, shopchicago, what you think about Marty winning. Will that be sad for the Lovehammers and fans? Cause if Marty doesn't win that may just be great news for Lovehammers. Any insider scoop on how they feel about the whole thing?

Oh, and thanks for puttin the bug in Marty's ear. It's just "not roit" to let him go unappreciated. . .

Can someone please tell me what happened tonight? I had my Tivo set to record Rock Star and it cut if off after 30 mins!! I have no idea what happened - who went home??? I'm dying!

Ok Mig's original was awful - it reminded me of Richard Marx.

As for Marty, yes Halleybird, I know him. We aren't like bff or anything, but my boyfriend and I went to high school w/him - he's from the town I grew up in, etc. His teeth aren't fake that I'm aware of - LOL. He's a really cool guy. ejc423, i'll be honest w/you - I hope he wins because I'm not very fond of the Love Hammers. I don't like what they do, so I think this would be a great step up for Marty. But, if he doesn't win, I agree that this will do a lot for the Love Hammers. So either way, he'll gain something out of this.

I know just how you feel (well almost) - I tivoed but THANKFULLY my husband was home & was watching so he tivoed second half too - I hate when the networks screw up my tivo!!!!!!!

ANYWAY - Jordis went home. Really it was time. I think she has a gorgeous voice, it's just not right for the band. I cried - I swear I get teary eyed every week - it's pitiful!!! Dave told her she was a star & they would perform together one day...it was sad.

I still love me some Marty. And i think it's hysterical that halleybird feels that he's going to eat her - that's funny.

HOW FUNNY was Mig when they called JD to be in the finally 3? I thought he was going to pass out.

haha - that's exactly what i said to my boyfriend as we were watching! actually, the only originals i liked were marty and jd's. i had "pretty vegas" in my head for hours.
