I saw your shopping post in the weekend shopping thread and asked you a question about your pants you bought.  I will just repost it here.  I don't know if you will go back to that thread and see it:

I have been wanting some brown tweed pants.  Could you tell me how the fit is as far as the rise?  Are they flared, straight legged?  I almost ordered some from Spiegel today, but I just hesitated because I have only ever had bad luck with Spiegel.

I think I found them online, but they are the Mossimo brand which is Juniors. Yet they are sized like misses (2, 4, 6, etc)  Are these the ones?  If so, did you size up or get your regular size?  I am a size 6 in Express Correspondents if that helps.  I am very interested in these.  Thanks.

Also, do you know how Merona is sized?  I am seeing tan tweed skirt online that I want. I usually wear an 8 in skirts at Gap and a 6 at BR?  Thanks.

I think those are them. In that pic, it looks like they are baggy at the top and then tapered, which is not accurate.  The rise is moderate -- maybe comparable to Gap modern fit or BR's harrison. Higher than I normally wear, but not too high. The legs are straight, but not skinny, if that makes sense. The leg opening is about 9", but they aren't flared...the whole leg is about that width.

I'd size up from what you wear at Express -- I am usually a 0 in editors/correspondents and I got a 2 in these, and they fit fine.

I am not 100% sure I am keeping them...still trying to find the right shoes. They look great with my pointy boots, though, and $25 isn't bad. Either way, ti's too hot to wear them here for another 2 months! HTH!

not halleybird but I have those pants. I think they run tts. I usually buy a 6 at express and I got the same size here. I did find them to be a tiny bit bigger than express, but I did not think enough so to size up. by the way I really like these pants, very cute on. even better than the pic. I did find them very long on me though.

As far as merona I though they ran a bit small. I bought thier pants in a 6 and think an 8 would have been better.  I can still wear the 6's as long as I am not having a fat day, then not a chance. I dont know as far as thier skirts, but the pants and shorts I have were the same situation.

Thanks halleybird and deuce for your responsed.  I forgot to ask.  Could you possibly tell me the inseam?  I am 5'6" and usuallly buy regular length, but I have bought talls before just so they would go to the bottom of my heels.  I plan on wearing some heels with these pants (if I get them) that would be about 3 inches.  Thanks.

the inseam on mine is a tad over 33". I about 5'7-5'7.5" (but w/long legs), and they are fine with flats, and I could probably even get away w/kitten heels.

Is that the tall length or the regular length?

I just ordered both a 6 and an 8 in Regular length.  I had a coupon code that took off $5 from my order.  Since shipping was $4.98, I basically got it for free.  I will just send the ones back that don't fit.  Thanks.

I assume that was regular length. I got them in-store, and the tag just says the size, nothing else.
