And I have some b-day spending money, what can I get me?! LOL I've been PRE b-day shopping my butt off this WHOLE weekend, then we take our trip on Friday, so MAN! What to do, what to get ME! LOL Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It's NOT a whole lot of spending money, but it's enough that it made me happy.....LOL

Thanks ladies for the Happy B-Day, I do appreciate it. YES! YES! YES! I was thinking of maybe some NICE jewelry, no fashion jewelry, but a staple piece or pieces. LOL And Joe (my honey) gave me MORE money to add to the pot, so YIPPEE! LOL I'll be hitting the Mall again tomorrow, but a different one, maybe I'll check out some jewelry stores there. I've forever been looking for some 14K gold hoops. Oh - sage - I felt MORE like an adult when I turned 30, but I'm still a KID at heart, no matter how old I get. LOL And laken1 - for those who know me, Joe and I usually take a trip to Shreveport, LA; no worries, I have family down there, and they are OK, and they said it was OK for us to come, so we head out probably about 9:00ish Friday morning. Pray that we make it there & back home safely. I don't know about shoes (LOL), I'm getting CLOSE to that 200 prs. mark again.....LOL Hmmmm - halleybird - I never thought it use it to start my Fall wardrobe! LOL GOOD IDEA! Man, yall must can read my mind, the hangbag I'm carrying now HAS SEEN better days, to that's another GOOD IDEA! LOL

Hmm... what to do with birthday money? I'd head over to the boutiques on South 1st (you're in ATX right?) and see what good stuff I could dig up for fall. Or I'd hit anthropologie (online of course b/c Austin sucks ass w/r/t the Anthro stores, or lack thereof I should say). How about Tiffanys? San Antonio is opening a store and they're having a Breakfast at Tiffanys thing in a couple weeks. You could save and wait for that.
A facial? Ooohhh!! How about Shiki in the new 2nd street shopping area? I LOVE that store but usually it's too pricey for me. But for a bday? Perfect. There are also one or two other cute boutiques over there with some fabu stuff. I practically salivate when I go over there.
Of course I never have a birthday without heading to Nordies for a new pair of shoes (nothing practical - strictly fashion-oriented). Have you been to Legs Diamond yet on Guadalupe? Great shoe store.
For good jewelry maybe check out Parts & Labor on South Congress. It's filled with jewelry made by local Austin artists. It rocks. It's my favorite jewelry store in town. If you're in the area, you might as well stop at - oh, what's the name of it? It's right next to Goody Two Shoes. I forgot the name of it but it has some really cute things. (Although it can be a bit hit or miss.)
You know what? If I'm wrong and you don't live in Austin, this whole post is pretty much worthless! lol - I hope you do!!
As much as you love jewelry, I think you should get a nice piece of jewelry for yourself. Maybe something classic like diamond studs or if you're a watch person, a really nice watch.
LOL Yes, blubirde, I 'am' in Austin, and THANKS all of you for more happy b-days & suggestions. I'm about to hit the shower, and then HIT THE ROAD, so blue, I will def. write down these stores and go check them out. I need to get an early start, before the crowd gets out there! LOL I'll keep yall posted!!! THANKS AGAIN!!!
