Okay, girls, I need some help! I'm on a mission to find jeans. Not just any jeans, but jeans that do not have spandex! That's right, no - stretch jeans for me!

You may be thinking I'm crazy, but stretch jeans make me feel fatter than non'stretch jeans. I'm not diggin the curve hugging qualities.

This is where my problem lies; I'm not one of those people that will spend hundreds (or even one hundred) on jeans. I like the nice $40 or $50 pair of jeans. Like levis or something like that. Levis, however, only have stretch! What is this world coming to? Please help me :- )

old navy.  i swear, though i've shopped there for years, i've only recently tried on/bought any of their jeans and they're awesome.  not designer-jean awesome, but for $25 they rock.


i have two pair (a dark, skinny low-waist pair, and a medium-wash wide leg w/wide hem pair), and i think they do have a little stretch to them, but not like other stretch jeans.  i'm curvy too, and find that i feel better in non-stretch than stretch jeans, but these work.  and whenever i wear the darker pair, someone always comments on how thin i look.  man i love those jeans.

Places that still carry non-stretch jeans:



  • Gap

  • Old Navy

  • Express

  • Lucky

  • American Eagle

I feel your pain though - I don't care for stretch either!  Have you checked out your local Marshalls or TJMaxx?  I was in a Marshalls yesterday that had Sevens, PDC, and AG jeans for $40-$60.

i hate to say it, but i like a&f jeans...  not all have stretch.


no stretch and they always fit just like i want them to...


but i won't walk into the store.  i have to order online.  i hate their employees.

I just got 3 pairs of Gap low rise boot cut original (non stretch jeans).  I'm with you, stretch is not a must on my list for jeans.

when I was on a mission to find jeans  finally found some at the gap i was @ to give up because i went to all my stores which are not many because we are a small town, and i love how they fit, mine are the regular boot cut and regular flare. I was so happy when i finally found some i was wanting to hug the young clerk but i  controlled   myself- lol I know crazy but i was ready to give up and so frustrated because i always got that gap in the back of my jeans, sorry did not mean to vent out , but i know it can get frustrated when jean shopping,
