Shoe size question
Permalink Closed

I am wanting a pair of boots from Baker's Shoes. I am an 8.5, but their sizing is European. I have never ordered from them, so I am wonderingi if I should go with a sie 38 or 39. There is only one review on the boots I want, and the person reviewing says they feel a full size too big. I am not sure about how dependable just one review is.

Typically I round up, but I have a wide foot so this is never a problem. With the other reviewer saying it felt big, going a 1/2 size down may not hurt. I have one pair of Bakers peep toes, and I think they are TTS.

anytime I order european sizing, I size up since the fit tends to run smaller. I'd go with the 39s.

I've heard that Bakers runs a bit narrow. Don't know if this is an issue for you. I's personally go a little bigger than smaller on a boot. You can always put a gel sole inside if it's a little big on you, but if it's too small, it's just be painful.

I'd say it's 38, but are you more 8 or 9? I"m 6 1/2 myself, but it's closer to 6, in European 36, not 37...is your food wide or narrow? If it's narrow - 38 probably.

Thanks everyone. I finally decided to just order both sizes and send back the one that doesn't fit. The shipping is free so I would only be out what I had to pay to send them back.
