My first one was on my lower back...it's a very large fairy, I got it when I was 18. It took 3.5 hours! The tattoo artist asked me if I wanted to come back and finish it another day and I said, "No way I'll never come back!"
My next one was a Chinese symbol meaning "destiny" that me and my FH got; I got mine on my right hip, I got it when I was 18 (10 days after my first one)
My third one was a little rose on my right ankle that my mom and I got, I got it when I was 19.
My fourth one was a japanese water lily that was placed behind my chinese symbol on my hip so that it looks like the symbol is floating on the flower, I was 19.
My fifth one was a very nice green/pink/purple butterly to match my first fairy on my right shoulder; I was 20
My sixth one was a little angel/halo thing that my mom and I both got; i got mine on the back of my neck. I think I was 20.
My seventh was an add-on to the rose. I had an anklet put around the rose; I got that when I was 21.
That's all for now. I want one on my foot and to eventually start a scene on my back.
I know people are concern with getting tattoos because they change as you get older, but mine are all mostly in places you can easily cover up and it's only skin! :)
I am ink free too.. So far, there hasnt been anything so important to me that I wanted it inked on me forever. I have never been opposed to them, just havent seen anything I absolutely love yet.
None. The point was hit home for when a 50ish year old lady who was rather overweight told this story one day while we were at work:
She used to HOT - I saw pictures & she really was in her 20s. At that time she considered getting a butterfly tattoo on her butt. She said she was really glad she didn't because now it would just be a great big moth! LOL I still laugh when I think about it.

None. I'm opposed to them on other people, but I just don't really get it. It seems weird to draw permanently on your body to me. But pierced ears also seem weird to me.
I've really wanted a tattoo for about three years now, but I'm so afraid of getting one and not liking it when I'm 30 or 50 or 80. If I did get one, it'd be this:
here:
That's a (small!!) Taurus symbol and pretty much the only thing that really represents who I am. I know it's kind of a weird spot but my cousin's ex-gf has one there and it looks super sexy. I've thought about getting it on the underside of my wrist because I think it's cool, but I probably just like it on Paris, which means I'm sort of retarded. I'm trying to find a temporary tattoo that lasts a while (more than a month, less than 3) so I can get over the urge for permanent ink. If any of you know of such a thing, holler. My friend says henna is a good alternative...

I have been 'inked' only once (left calf muscle), but I plan on getting maybe 3 more (butterfly, my last name, and SOMETHING else); I see nothing wrong w/them, I think SOME of them are pretty cool.

I have the wussiest (is that a word?) tattoo on my foot and I love it. It's a tiny blue star and it's smaller than a dime. I'm not going to lie--it hurt like a bitch! Here's a pic of it:
It has no particular meaning, but I thought about it for a year before I got it at 19.
Had it since I was 19 (15 years) and have never regretted it. It was not trendy to do at that time - I just liked this little picture of a kitty leaning back on its haunches to sharpen its claws, in that lazy way cats do, and i thoguht it would be perfect perched on my ankle bone. It was and it is, even at my ripe old age.

I have a very special one on my left shoulder blade. It is a tiny chinese character meaning "loyal." It is special because my BF got it for me on my 18th birthday, I am half-chinese, and I consider loyalty to be one of the greatest virtues.
I also have a pink hibiscus-like flower on the right side of my middle back. I love the colors, but it is kind of in a weird spot.
I really like my tattoos and don't think I will ever regret them. And they are in spots I can easily cover up. I would like to get another, but am trying really hard not to--I just think two is enough for me to have.
The one I'm getting removed is vampire bites on my breast. Self explanatory why I'm getting it removed. I was 16 and all into Anne Rice. What was I thinking?
I have a Fairy on my lower right stomach
I have the Chinese symbol for Warrior on my lower left stomach
I have Chinese symbols for Fear No Man down the side of my hip and
A dream catcher that takes up about a 1/4 of my back.
I eventually want them all removed but teh dream catcher.

If you don't mind my asking, is there a reason you're getting them removed? ie, are you against tattoos now, does someone oppose them?
