need pomade/hair product

Any good recommendations out there for pomade/hair products?  I have mid-length hair that tends to fly away around my hairline and I need something on the ends so its more piece-y.  Any ideas?

TIA!

I love Redken Water Wax.  I've tried a bunch of pomades and hated how many of them made my hair greasy, sticky, or tacky.  But Water Wax makes my hair smooth and piecey without the mess.

I use John Frieda Sheer Blonde Spun Gold.  I recently got my hair cut so that it's not in a perma-bun anymore, so I needed some products. I like this stuff. It has little tiny gold sparkles in it to give your hair extra shine.

They have that for brunettes too, right?  I'm about as far from blonde as a person can get.

Hmmm...I believe there is a similar product for brunettes. I haven't the slightest what it's called, though.

There is no pigment to this product...I'm brunette and use it.

I use Spun Gold too. I mix it with Frederic Fekkai glossing cream when I want less hold.

I use the Alterna one in the burgundy jar.  It is really light and doesn't make the hair greasy (it also smells really good).  My hair dresser recommended it because I have really thick hair that has fine strands.  He said this is the only pomade that would work on my hair type.

i use kenra platinum grooming pomade for a lighter hold and the kenra platinum taffy when i want a little bit more hold.  think of it this way: when i am wearing my hair straight- i use pomade and when i am flipping it out- i use taffy!
