So, I was all excited b/c I ordered this necklace:



I get an e-mail today saying that they are sold out and will not be restocking. Boooohiisssssssssssss. I really wanted this and my lazy self doesn't feel like making it.

i know that all the rage is super inexpensive...but this one from anthropologie i thought was cute for $48 (not tooo bad for anthro. jewelry)

I just love those necklaces.  I'm always drawn to colors.  Making necklaces is nearly as expensive as just buying them unless you already have the beads...

Yep, you're right.  But those look like glass beads to me, which aren't nearly as expensive as actual gemstones.  I'm still going to use gold-filled findings, though, which aren't cheap, either. But I love it, so I'll get my money's worth and time's worth out of it.  Besides, this necklace practically inspired my entire fall wardrobe, so I must have it one way or another.
