Since we both live in Chicago and will hopefully meet at the Chicago ST get together I would love to learn a little more about you!

I read a bit about your psycho ex at your current job, has he moved to your floor? How is all that going? Do you have a current BF?

How long have you lived in Chicago and what do you like to do for fun there?

How old are you and when is your B-day?

What are your hobbies?

1. As a kid what did you want to be when you grew up?

2. Have you ever been out of the country, if so where, if not where would you like to go?

3.What was your favorite school lunch?

Oh I'm so honored to be ST'er of the week - thank you Luv2Shop!!!  Ok, let me start answering some questions!

I read a bit about your psycho ex at your current job, has he moved to your floor? How is all that going? Do you have a current BF?

Thanks for asking - it's going ok.  He's still a psycho and he's still trying to talk to me, but I've blocked him from our internal instant messenger and I'm avoiding him the best I can.  He's really a nutjob, trying to lay a guilt trip on me because I don't want to talk to him or be his friend.  Gee - who wants to be friends w/a liar, cheater, and stalker?!  I did find out that unfortunately he is moving to my floor for sure in the next couple of weeks, but it will be on the other side of the floor at least - I'll just avoid that side

I do have a current boyfriend.  I've been w/him for about 3.5 years (we had a short break in that time which is when I met the psycho!).  I've been living w/my current BF for the past year and few mos and it's going great!  He's the best guy I've ever known and I couldn't be any happier

How long have you lived in Chicago and what do you like to do for fun there?
Well I've lived in the actual city of Chicago for a little over 2 years now, but I'm from the south suburbs of Chicago - born and raised.  I've never lived anywhere else.  I like to do all kinds of things in Chicago - there's lots of great shopping, I like to go to dinner and try different restaurants.  On weekends I like to check out bars sometimes (but not every weekend).  The BF and I also love to talk long walks, go to the beach, and I love all of the street fests that go on in the city in the summer.

How old are you and when is your B-day?
I'm 25 and my birthday is March 11.

What are your hobbies?
Shopping of course!  That's my number 1 hobbie.  I also love to read - all different kids of books and magazines.  I of course consider ST a hobby.  I also like to sew..I like to think I'm pretty decent at it.  Also - I love to write.  On the side, I actually like to write reviews of bands, concerts, and movies for local publications/websites around chicago.

As a kid what did you want to be when you grew up?

I remember for the longest time, I used to tell my parents that I wanted to go to Yale and become a lawyer - yeah, that didn't quite happen!

Have you ever been out of the country, if so where, if not where would you like to go?

Yes, I've been to Mexico, but that's it.  How boring.  I would love to go to Hawaii and Tahiti.  I'd also love to go to London, Ireland, Paris, Italy, etc.

What was your favorite school lunch?

Oh god, I loved the trays of french fries we used to get in high school for $1.  That's all I would eat for lunch some days.  How nutritious!

Favorite fast food?

Do you mean the actual food or the restaurant?  If it's the food - french fries - those are the downfall of me.  If it's the chain...hmmm - I'd have to say Portillos out of all of them.

What kind of music do you listen to?

I pretty much listen to everything, except Rap and Country - I hate both of those.  Some of my favorites are smaller, more unknown artisits like a Chicago Band - Kill Hannah.  There's also G. Love and Special Sauce, I love No Doubt and Gwen Stefani.  Love Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Beck, Tori Amos - the list goes on and on.

Best concert you've ever been to?

This is such a hard question for me to answer - I've been to a ton of concerts, but the best was when I was 15, I got to see the last Grateful Dead show ever before Jerry Garcia died.

Do you have bro & sisters? How many?

I only have one brother, who's 29.

Since you've lived in Chicago your whole life, is there one city in the U.S. that you'd like to live in?  Anywhere abroad?

What do you do for a living?

How would you describe your style?

What's one thing you're really good at cooking?

Actually, I would love to live in California - the bf and I are actually planning to move out there next Spring/Summer - to Orange County.

What do you do for a living?

I'm an executive assistant for a SVP at JPMorgan Chase (formerly Bank One)

How would you describe your style?

I think my style is very girly-girl - somewhat classic, but somewhat funky. I like to mix it up and give outfits my own touches.

What's one thing you're really good at cooking?

Haha - nothing!  My BF is the cook in our household.  I don't make too much, but I'm really good at baking.

You said you like to read so what's your favorite book? 2nd favorite?

And I know you're a Felicity fan (duh!) and we've discussed favorite eps before and all that jazz, but what's your least favorite ep and why?

I'll post more later!

My absolute favorite book is The Great Gatsby.  I decided my 2nd favorite book is Summer Sisters by Judy Blume - don't laugh, but this book is such a great story about two girl friends, and I can read it over and over again.

And I know you're a Felicity fan (duh!) and we've discussed favorite eps before and all that jazz, but what's your least favorite ep and why?

I'd have to say my least favorite is the episode where Avery is introduced and starts stalking Ben.  I hated her so much and I hated the way Ben treated Felicity during that time.  But it doesn't mean I didn't like the episode!  LOL

I like your questions shopgirl82!

favorite margarita in the city?

Lalo's is my #1 favorite, but I also love Ceasar's for margaritas too.

chireader or metromix?

hmm - i like them both for different reasons.  love metromix for restaurant & bar info, but I love the chireader for the job and apartment section and the music (what bands are playing, who's at what club) section.  So it's a toss up.

lincoln park shopping or downtown shopping?

Lincoln Park shopping for sure.  There are way more boutique and one of a kind stores you don't get downtown.

chipotle or potbelly's?

Potbelly's!

domnicks or jewel?

Jewel - I think I've been in a dominick's like once

Who is your favorite Gatsby character & why?

My friend (who is from Wisconsin) is obsessed with a place called "Boston's Store" or something like that in Chicago. Is it really that great or is she a little nuts?

How did you meet your boyfriend?

What would your dream house/apt look like?

Yeah, you're my fellow reality TV whore, so I want to know what your favorite TV show is (it doesn't have to be a reality show--but don't be embarrassed to admit it if it is. . .).

What is your favorite smell?

You girls ask questions that really make me think!

what's your dream occupation?

I would love to work in the fashion industry.  I'd love to be a buyer or something and get to travel.  Or I'd love to work at Fashion shows.  My FMIL does this, but locally and on a small scale - sometimes I get to help her out at shows and it's just so much fun.  That's what I'd like to do eventually.

what's your favorite fantasy?

that i'm living in a glass bottom hut over the ocean in Tahiti w/my boyfriend and I don't have to work and neither does he

Who is your favorite Gatsby character & why?

Nick Carraway - the narrator of Gatsby was always my favorite - I found him so interesting that I wrote a paper in high school disecting his character.  I really liked Daisy too.

My friend (who is from Wisconsin) is obsessed with a place called "Boston's Store" or something like that in Chicago. Is it really that great or is she a little nuts?

I've never heard of a store here called Boston's store!  Are you sure you've got the name right?

How did you meet your boyfriend?

This is a long story, but basically we met through a mutual friend.  He was trying to set us up and eventually he did.  There's more to the story than that, but it's really long to type!

What would your dream house/apt look like?

I don't know exactly what it would look like, but it would have beautiful wood floors w/marble counter tops and all stainless steel appliances.  I'd have a huge master bedroom w/an enourmous bath tub w/two marble sinks, a big jaquzzi and a nice shower.  I'd have a nice sit down vanity too.  Can you tell I want a nice bathroom?!  I'd have a big deck off the back door and a nice big yard.  Oh and I'd have a huge inground pool and a hottub outside.  Have you ever seen LC's hottub on Laguna Beach?  I want that sooo bad!

Yeah, you're my fellow reality TV whore, so I want to know what your favorite TV show is (it doesn't have to be a reality show--but don't be embarrassed to admit it if it is. . .).

Favorite TV show of all time is/was Felicity.  Nothing compares!  My favorite show now is probably Alias.  My favorite reality show is Laguna Beach right now, as embarassed as I am to admit it!  LOL.

What is your favorite smell?

The scent of clean laundry - I love that smell!  I buy air freshners and candles in that Clean Linen/Cotton all the time.

No way, me too!

Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life?

What is a food that grosses you out?

What is one expensive clothing/shoes/accessory item that you would buy if you had the money?

I am sure it has Boston in the title. Maybe it's in Milwaukee, though, and I misunderstood her.

*not trying to hijack the thread!*

Boston Store is a department store in WI.  I used to work there!  It is the same store as Younkers (also in WI), and Carson's (Carson Pirie Scott) in Illinios, and Bergner's in Minnesota.  I always thought of it as one little step lower than Marshall Field's.  I didn't buy clothes there too often, but most of my accessories, handbags, and shoes are from there because I got a fat discount.

Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life?

Either Kate Hudson or Rachel McAdams - I love them both.

What is a food that grosses you out?

Even though I do eat meat - a lot of it really disgusts me and if I eat too much of it, I actually feel sick..so I don't eat it everyday.

What is one expensive clothing/shoes/accessory item that you would buy if you had the money?

Hmm - there's probably a lot.  Right now I would really love a Kooba Sienna or Scarlett bag, but it's just not in my price range

Are you an optimist, realist, or pessimist?

I'd say I'm probably a realist - I tend to see the reality in things.  Sometimes I am a bit of a pessimist too, but overall a realist.

Do you like board games? Your favorite?

Oh I love board cames!   I really like Sorry - that was always my fav.

Do you believe in ghosts/spirits?

I'd like to say I do, but no not really.  My bf always tries to tell me they exist, but I don't really believe in them.  I'm not saying I am 100% certain they don't exist though.  I'm sort of unsure.

Were you ever in love before your SO?

I think I thought I was once before him, but now that I know what real true love is and what's it like to be loved back - no I was never truly in love before him.

What is your favorite drink (alcoholic and non-alkie)?

Alcoholic - Blue Moon

Non-alcoholic - Snapple Peach Ice Tea

Keep them coming girls!!!  This is fun
