was looking in my closet and come across this top and skirt i wore to brothers wedding- in 2001 wish i had somewhere to wear it - only wore once- just sitting there- wish my hair would look like that too- lol- without all the fuss that goes along with it.any ideas ladies ??

You could take the skirt to a tailor and have it shortened.  You might get more wear out of it that way.

hum never thought @ that before- thats a good idea, and if it is shorter i could wear a different top not sure if that one would go than. okay any more ideas ? thanks ladies?

I like the idea of getting it shortened. You could wear it with a different top as a fun cocktail outfit that way. The way it is its pretty dressy and wedding-y so I can't think of anywhere to wear it and not look silly (um, maybe if you chaperone prom or something...)

thanks girls, yes i like the idea of getting it shorten , i agree with i love choo it so dressy it is hard to wear it again the way its at. i love the color and the way its made with the sheer layering effect.  how short should i go knee length or just below ?

I think knee-length would look best. 


ETA: I don't think that you should wear the top with it, though.  It would look pretty with a soft cashmere sweater or a camisole and a shrug.
