the balsamic post got me thinking. I love ceasar dressing but am picky and cannot find any in the store I like. Looking for something not too mayonasiey or too thick tasting. and not too fishy. I like the versions that are a little more vinagarette. any suggestions or recipes.

i looooooooove cardini's ceasar dressing.  i am SUPER picky about my ceasar dressing.  i've tried sooo many and often throw out ceasar dressings.  cardini's is by far the best i've ever had.  it's located by the paul newman dressings in my grocery store.  also, the full fat dressing is definitely amazing, but surprisingly the light dressing is decent too (not as good, but good for light).  i would try the regular and then see if you want to make the transition to the light.

edit: i just read that you like more vinegarette ones.  this review might not help, but i don't find it too be too thick, but it's definitely not a vinegarette.

I adore Ken's Steakhouse brand of lite caesar dressing. I buy it at Kroger. It's oil based, not creamy, and a little goes a long way because it's thin. Vary flavorful! It's also a light version, but it doesn't taste to diet-ish.

Argghhh!!

I just came from the grocery store and found the creamy versoin but not the regular of the Kens Steakhouse. So I lookonline and they only sell the creamy in Cali???? What we dont deserve the good stuff here or what?

I can order it online but for like $15 a bottle. I don't think it costs that much in the store. Seems like alot to pay for something that it is very likely that it will get thrown away, (I am so picky) Boooo!

A 16 oz. bottle here is $3.29. Don't pay $15 for a bottle.
