weird jaw/neck pain

Yesterday, I was really stressed out and thinking about going back to my job, and all of a sudden, my neck and jaw tightened up and the right side of my jaw was tense/numb for a good 1-2 hours.  Ever since then, my jaw feels "heavy".. it's so weird.. anyone know what this is?

Sounds like a pulled muscle (probably caused from it being clenched yesterday). I'd say if it's not better in a couple days, call the doc. Otherwise I think it'll probably be fine. Hope you feel better!

Do you grind your teeth while you're asleep? That often goes along with tightening your jaw when you're stressed. There are these funny things you can wear in your mouth at night to keep you from doing that... not exactly sexy, but they work, and it's important in the long run.
