Where are the comfy shoes??

i bought a pair of circa joan and david black pointy toe heels last week and although i haven't worn them outside of the house or the store yet, they seemed really comfortable and cushioned. i usually feel like i have to get used to shoes but these feel great on.

the sales associate said they are designed to be comfortable, "the working woman's shoe" is actually what she said, ha.

i have also found seychelles to be really comfortable.

I just bought these Naturalizer sandals (in honey brown) and they are SO comfortable. Not that you want sandals for work, but I can vouch for the awesome comfort of Naturalizers. You just kind of have to hunt around to find the ones that aren't too dowdy.

I stumbled on a pair of BCBG ballet flats last fall, and they have turned out to be the most wonderful, comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. I tried desperately to buy a "backup" pair, but never found them again. But there are a few things that make them so great:

- The leather is soft as butter, but yet to show signs of wear and tear (and I wear them A LOT!). I didn't have to break them in or suffer blisters.

- They have some padding in the footbed. It really keeps your legs and feet from getting tired.

- They're round toe, so a little more forgiving then my pointy toe shoes (and I LOVE pointy toes).

I think I am going to order a pair of London Soles in a few weeks because of good reviews, so I will report back when I get them!

I love aerosoles for their comfort. I plan to buy some for fall. They are great for work.

Have you tried buying those little gel cushions that go under the ball of your feet? I bought some at CVS to put in my uncomfy heels for a wedding, and they worked out great. The balls of my feet are always what end up killing me, and the little gel pads kept me pretty comfortable and not wishing for death.

I have little fat sausage toes and wide feet, so I kinda have the opposite problem...

I really like Seychelles for comfort too. Genereally I look for a rubber sole when on the hunt for shoes. More and more shoe companies are making them that way...thank goodness. Also my Eugenia Kims are really comfy...I could walk for city blocks in them if I wasn't worried about destroying a $300 pair of shoes.
