tea tree oil?

I finally got some tea tree oil, and now I need to know how to use it. I have these tiny little brown dots on my nose that need to go.

How, how much, how often, morning or evening.... if you use tea tree oil, what's your routine, and what does it do?

when i worked at aveda, we were trained that tea tree oil is an antibacterial agent ... i'm not quite sure what you think it might do for your spots

A looong time ago, I *think* there was a post here that tea tree oil worked well on brownheads, which I guess are the little spots I have. Like blackheads, except not as bad - just a little gunk in my pores, maybe?

I remember Drew made a post about this.  Wash gently, take a cotton ball (I like to dampen mine with water so the oil doesnt sink in too much and get lost) and put some tea tree oil on it.  Swipe over nose and where there is blemishes.  Then apply a light coating of 2.5% bp gel (she and I both use the one sold at www.acne.org- there is good info on site as well)  Moisturize well.  This has cleared my skin up a lot, though I don't use the tea tree oil.

I like it as a spot treatment too for blemishes.  Especially if you have to pop one, put it on before and after.
