Do you think this fabric would make a pretty top?  I am thinking about one in this the style of the red one in this picture.

Absoultely!  Go for it!  Pls post a review when u re done!!  u are brave to try making ur own clothes.  I have been struggling to get a courage to do it myself.

For that type of shirt, i think it would look best in a chiffon-y type fabric.  Not sure I can picture it in a cotton- knit or woven.  I think the top would look great in a floral though, and like the pattern on the fabric you picked.

I like the fabric, but not sure about the pattern, I don't like the bow on it.
