For the fall season, what will you be accessorizing with?

interesting question... i have some ideas, and i'm actually going to try and make some stuff this season too

as far as jewelry i'm actually going to be doing some transitioning. right now i wear a lot of bold necklaces made out of various beads, shells, gems, etc. while i'm going to continue wearing these, i'm also going to be incorporating more pieces that are solid metal (gold/silver) no beading, etc. i've been drawn to really chunky gold & silver chains, and also geometric shapes kind of like this one jmr made (isn't it gorgeous)

i also want to try a modified version of this look

though with chains that are slightly smaller and a different shade of gold. i actually can't wait to rock this.

i always wear chunky scarves and  i want a tassle belt (i've started making this too), and some opera length gloves. that's it for now, but i'm sure i'll think of more later.

I made a long-long-long beaded necklace I am planning on wearing a lot. It is a gold-filled chain with semi-precious stone beads in Fall colors (various shades of green, brown, red). Looks like this only longer and with different color stones:

I also bought a vintage Missoni scarf in green and pink that's simply adorable - I can't wait to wear it! Gloves are back, and I have a great pair of burgundy leather driving gloves.

I love Fall!

I want to stock up on chunky jewelry like, big, beaded necklaces (I'll probably make a few, but I don't really have a lot of time for that since I'm working on my spring stuff), cocktail rings and bracelets.  I  plan to layer these with the more refined, delicate jewelry that I make. I like the juxtaposition of delicate with chunky. It adds texture and interest.

I have a bunch of scarves from last year that will probably make an appearance again this season. I'll probably buy a few more as well.

I also want to buy some shoes for work since I no longer am on my feet all day long and can wear fun heels to work.  I'm really into round-toe shoes this season (so comfortable!).  I also would like to buy a pair of Fryes, but I don't know if the budget will allow for that.  I also need some casual, flat shoes for weekends.

And metallics are still going strong in my closet, so I'll be buying a few accessories in gold and bronze.

I think for jewelry I will be going more goth. Lots of black/onyx and silver. I will still be layering necklaces. I already got a great tassel pendant necklace off of ebay for like $4. (I love ebay!)

I am not much of a scarf person, but I will definitely still be wearing my belts. I will try to wear them a bit higher than before, and I am looking for a nice black belt. I am also tempted to try the whole cummerbund trend. It is a bit too trendy though.

I am also wanting some gold bangles, even my SO pointed out my lack of bracelets
