so, after being thrifty for a few months (i tried the ban but i found some great deals i couldn't pass), the BF and i went shopping!!!! here is what i scored!
this is from Ruehl and not A&F. I bought it in a dark burgandy color and it is soooooo soft... this was my splurge piece for fall as it was $150
from A&F- similiar to this but in a sweater material and cream and with little elbow patches in suede- i am obsessed with elbow patches- BR has some jackets and sweaters with them too!
Also, from Ruehl, I got a tee that says "I found my social skills in the bottom of a Cosmopolitan" I this tee!!!!
and the BF got 2 tees at Ruehl which i think are hysterical:
so wrong- but SO funny... he also got another one that says "Act like you've been here before" but i couldn't find it to take a picture!
some things are from BR and their website is down so i can't post pictures but- i got a victorian style sheer black sleeveless shirt and a missoni inspired long scarf (for $10!)...
here's the scarf
oh and i forgot about these shoes:
puma "feline" in dark purple
the mossimo peep toes that everyone was raving about on here- i am happy i got them! v. comfy and super cute! (don't you guys just LOVE our gold shag carpeting- we sure do!! )
thank you! i am v. excited about the Ruehl sweater as well. I knew I wanted a sweater like that and as soon as I saw it and the color- I knew it must be mine!!!!
I love the Ruehl cardi! I've been wanting the A&F version of it but I'm waiting for it to go on sale.
just an FYI- the reason i sprung for the Ruehl version is because the A&F one was SO itchy... but if you plan on wearing long sleeves with it- you should be okay...

Aww, I am so disappointed. I saw it in person and thought the material was soft, not itchy. I guess it's different when you actually try it on. I don't have a Ruehl near me so the Ruehl cardi is not an option. I know Hollister has some more inexpensive sweaters that are similar so I guess I'll check those out. Thanks for letting me know though.
