i voted to keep waiting. while i'm not sure if it'll be a classic, at the very least i would wait until i got it b/f making a final decision. i feel like once you get it, you'll have a better idea of how well it will work with your wardrobe.

I don't like it personally, but that's not the point.... If you adore it, then you should get it. Did you like the Bulgas as much at first? If not, you don't need to worry about getting tired of them. It sounds like you have a lot of bags, but I'd be concerned because this one looks pretty small, so wouldn't be practical (for me).

If you really really love it- keep waiting. If you're worried about it being a hot bag and then not liking it because of its ubiquity- then cancel your order. I doubt it will be as popular as a bulga- but I do consider it trendy.

It's a beautiful bag. That color is so rich and caramelly (sp?) and it looks like soft, pliable, nice leather. The color and shape of the bag are timeless. The grommets are a little bit trendy, but they're not so over the top that it will render the bag "dated" looking in a few months or years. The fringy stuff on the zipper pull is a little trendy too, but would probably be easy enough to remove it if you want to later.

I think this bag is different from the Bulgas because of the color and because the Bulgas are much more detail-heavy and this bag is a bit simpler. I think it's a good buy and will probably last you at least until the Spring and you'll probably be able to rock it next fall and winter too. So, I think you should wait if you loooooooooooove it. But if you're having serious second thoughts, then think, would you rather have that bag, or the $$$ for something else you have your eye on? Hope this helps!

I guess the thing is, I dont really have the money right now. It is going on my credit card and I am terrified that I will cancel my order, then decide I want it in 2 months and they will be completely sold out or backordered for even longer.

Also the trendiness of parts of the bag is scaring me a tad.

I am currently rotating the following:

Black Marc Jacobs Round Hobo, Cream Marc Jacobs Large Tote, Black BCBG Pebbled Leather Satchel, pink and white flowered Trina Turk clutch, White Leather Coach Satchel..

No brown bag.. at all.. But as you can tell I like pretty classic (SAFE) bags..
