I don't know of a uniform, but you would probably be fine with skinny jeans, heels, and an oversized top with possibly some sparkle/sequins.

Ditto D - Meatpacking is a "trendy" area but as you know, NY fashion is all about being fashionable without looking like you tried to be fashionable.. I think skinnies with killer heels and some slouchy top works.
