Me three! Steve Madden had some last year, I think, but they had a rounded toe, so I didn't get them. The ones you posted look beeeautiful, though - what's wrong with them? *Maybe* try less expensive shoe stores - I went on a search for super-basic tan thongs, and ended up finding them only at Payless. But it's a shame to get a cheap version of such a classic shoe, I know.
Its very hard, I know! I have a great pair on nine west boots in a beautiful camel/tan color.. they are getting old though. I think i've had then four years.. Its time for new but i havent seen anything!
It just occured to me that ballroom dance shoes come in beautiful, extremely flattering styles, are comfortable, durable, and nude-colored or even dyable. The strappy ones (for latin dances) are the really gorgeous ones, and I'd recommend them of you want nude sandals. But the basic pumps (for standard dances) might be worth looking at for this. They aren't super-sexy shapes, so there might not be any actual stilettos, but it might be worth a try. You'd have to have new soles put on them, though, because they're suede and wouldn't last at all off a dance floor.
