Okay ladies, I am putting this here because I think that it will get more hits.  My bf and I have been invited to a wedding reception next Friday.  I will give you some background:

-The bride works for my bf.  He is an IT Recruiter and she has worked as a Consultant for him for about 2 years.  They have a nice relationship - he takes her out to lunch about once a month.

-I have never met the couple and he has never met the groom.

-The couple was married in some tropical paradise in June and this is the "at home" reception.

Now for the ?.  How much should we spend on a gift?  They are registered at Bloomingdales so we could pick up a gift or a gift card for them.  I was thinking $75 should be plenty.  Is that too cheap?  Too much?  HELP!

I think $75 would be perfect.

I agree $75 is just the right amount.

$75 sounds very nice to me; not too cheap at all. Have fun!
