octavia sweater  Can someone suggest other color tops that would look good with this cardi besides light lavendar?   I had thought about light olive, but I am not sure. Thanks.  You can even make outfits if you want


If I get a lavender one I have my heart set on one like that one from anthro and unfortunately, a $118 top is not going to match my budget.

I think I am afraid of red.  I love to mix color, but I am having a hard time with red...


I would choose something with red in it to be safe:

I agree that light blue or aqua would look great with red. You could probably dress it down a bit for work by wearing a fairly simple top that wouldn't be too shiny. Here are just a few suggestions from Max Studio:

Thanks so much to everybody for your wonderful suggestions. Seashells, I am afraid of red too, which is why I can't believe I just had to have this cardigan.  At the time I got it, I had it in my head that I would make myself a top similar to the anthro one I like, but that hasn't worked out.  I make a mistake at every stitch because I am just so burned out on sewing and really don't have the time. 


I am going to continue to look at all your suggestions because they are all so appealing.  All of you have come up with things I would have never thought of because I had the lavender thing on my brain.
