that sounds like a super cute outfit, but I bet you can find a cheaper dress. Black day dresses seem to be big for fall- wasn't there a thing about them in this month's shop, etc.?

I'm going to disagree. I def. think that dress is worth the price. I have two Ella Moss dresses and I LOVE them both. They are made from the softest cotton and you can dress them up or down.

Just my opinion.

BEX- no pm yet, but is it the black dress with beading on the straps! LOVE! i wish i had a reason to wear it, but if i ever did, i could just wear that whistles one.... or the black lace with turq. underlay? (also love) those are the only two black ones i can think of...i will def let you know as soon as it goes on sale. also, we do markdowns on tuesdays, so wed is the time to come in. right now there is a lot on sale but they prob won't mark down next week b/c of an employee event coming up...

and yes, i would get my discount on the ella moss dress.. just wanted to know if it was worth the price at all. i love the dress, but i'm in college- in the fall, my weekends are more likely to be spent in jeans and an OSU tee (go bucks!) than in a LBD... but we'll see

i found that my ella moss stuff got pill-y very quickly (like only after a couple wears). i thought you might like that info for your decision making.

It's a cute dress, but $158 for cotton seems high to me. I found this dress at www.bodenusa.com and I'm thinking about ordering it. I'm not sure what the quality is like, but it's $108, so it's a little cheaper. And since it has long sleeves you could wear it in the fall and winter:

Same here. I bought a summer cami from Anthro that was Ella Moss- it was this one:

and it got verrry pilly after two washes. I returned it. I have the black too though, and its holding up better I think. I don't think her quality is always that great.
