Urbn long knit pants review

I ordered these pants for our NY trip next month and was kind of disappointed.  The fabric is really really thin - maybe it's closer to what the original ones were like, but it's a little thin for me.  I actually like my cheapo gauchos from Target and Charlotte Russe much better.  Does anyone else sell these long ones?

On a related note, I need some other pant ideas for the trip...right now I only have these (or hopefully, an alternate to these) and jeans for daytime exploring the city.  What else could I bring that would be comfy, somewhat cute and would go with these shoes...which I think I've decided on.

how dissapointing!  i want a pair like that too june and wasn't willing to get the "carol" pants that are $80!  if you find a pair- you better post!  but i haven't seen any other long pant style out there yet...

i picked up a black pair from f21. i'm happy with them and the knit material is a bit more substantial than what i've seen in most pairs of those pants. maybe you could try looking there.

I have a black pair from Nordstroms BP dept that I got for like $38 last week. I havent worn them yet but they look great on and seem really nice.

I know Nordstrom doesn't have any on their website, but they'd ship them from a store if I called directly, right?  Which Nordstrom did you buy yours at JoceyBaby23?

I got mine in the BP section at the King of Prussia Nordstroms.. They had tons of colors too. I would like to go back this weekend and maybe get another pair. If they wont ship to you, let me know. I could pick up a pair and send them to you.

i got mine from ebay...  for about 20 in brown and black..


sellers name is ric111marif your interesed.


i just figured they were trendy, cotton-y pants, so ebay it is.


 


EDIT !!!  i never knew that if you copy & pasted an ebay seller name it would take you right to it :)  learn something new everyday !

Thanks so much for the sweet offer, Jocey!  I just called that store and they were happy to ship them to me.  :)  Although, I just realized she said they're $32 so I hope they're the same ones that you liked.  I triple checked with her that we were talking about long ones, not gaucho length, so I'm sure they'll be fine.

tara t!  thanks for posting that seller... i just got a black pair from him.... def. going to have to cut off about 10 inches of the hem due to the 40 inch inseam!

bex...  i just noticed you posted this, but i bought a medium, and think the 40 inches is the measurement from top to bottom, and the inseam is about 31 ish..


i'm wearing mine now and they were the perfect length without chopping the bottom off :)

OK, I tried Nordstrom, but for some reason, they couldn't figure out how to ship me the pants.  Don't ask.  I think I'm going to get the ebay ones since they're cheaper and I'm frustrated with Nordstrom.


  tara t. - are the ones that seller has sewn at the bottom or are the edges raw?  Also, are you happy with the thickness of them?  Obviously, they shouldn't be like sweatpants or anything...but I guess I'm just a little leery after these papery-thin urbn ones.  I have (and love) the short gauchos from target and charlotte russe, if that gives you my frame of reference...

they are thin, but i'm not sure how thin compared to any of the ones you talked about...


i bought the gauchos from this seller as well as the long ones.


as for the edges, they are not hemmed.


they are fine for me and super comfy.


i'm not sure if bex or whoever will like them because they may be too thin, but i'm happy.


i got the brown with the tie, and the black with sequins.
