OK, maybe not ever ever, but I saw The 40-Year-Old Virgin last night and I can't remember laughing so hard at a theater before. I was expecting it to be a stupid sort of movie I'd have to drag my husband to (I Steve Carrell and I will see anything he does), but it was really well written and casted, and I think my husband liked it even more than I did. 


My local reviewer (who is normally a tool) gave it 4.5 stars. He compared it to a more grown-up version of a John Hughes movie, which is true...it's a little raunchy sometimes but ultimately really sweet. Here's the review: http://www.azcentral.com/ent/movies/articles/0819virgin0819.html

Oh man! I thought it was so hilarious too! I went with a guy friend and I did NOT want to see the movie. I told him if the movie sucked he had to take me to another one, on his dime.


Man, was I surprised. I laughed throughout the whole thing - soooo funny. Definitely check it out.

OMG--that movie was so freakin' funny!  I just got back from seeing it with my husband and I was literally crying in some parts.  And some parts I just had to close my eyes because it was just too awkward to watch...much like the Office.


Speaking of the Office, is it returning for a second season?  I certainly hope so--I love Steve Carrell!

I have to see this. Steve Carrell makes me laugh, and I have never seen him in anything. I watched him do the rounds of the talk shows(The Daily Show, Letterman, possibly Leno) and he is just a funny guy. I can't wait to see it.

I am SO glad someone else loves The Office. My friends and husband think it is the dumbest show ever, but I adore it! I think it is coming back for a 2nd season -- it just barely survived the network cuts.

I saw it to and really really liked it!  I didn't *love* it, but it was very good!  and I love Steve Carrell too!  I miss him on the Daily Show!  John did have him back as a guest last week and the episode was hilarious!  John was acting all proud of Steve - it was very touching.

Woooooooooooooooohooooooooooooooooooooooo!    I heard a rumor it was getting cancelled, but I saw them doing some promo thing on NBC last week, so I figured they probably weren't cancelling it, but I wasn't sure.  That show KILLS me!  So great!
