Some WW questions- Irene, LSU et al.

I was looking on the website and I think I'm going to sign up tonight and do the flex program.  I want to lose 15-20 pounds.  My husband is looking to lose 20-30 pounds too, but I just can't see us being on the same plan.  He would want to do flex, I THINK, but would he, at 6'1", have the same point allowance as me, at 5'10"?  I tried to find the answer on the website, but didn't.  Maybe I don't know where to look.  I just can't imagine him being satisfied on the same allowance.   I think he'd be hungry all the time.

FH and I did (er..do) flex together. It is the same program, but he gets more points each day because he weighs more. Height and sex are calculated into determining what a "healthy" weight range is for you, but after that the number of points you get each day is based solely on your current weight.

hopefully that didn't confuse you even more. I swear it works. We've both lost and neither of us has gone hungry.

Oooh, what fun. You should definitely do it together. My FH is on Slim Fast, but it works for him so oh well.

you probably wouldn't have the same number of points.  I don't do flex just because I don't have the self discipline to do flex points.  I do the winning points program which is the one right before flex and me and the bf wouldn't have the same number of points on it.  A lot of people do well on flex and if your hubby is doing it with you it will make it much easier.

also check out dottie's weight loss zone for more ww info and recipe ideas. http://www.dwlz.com

If I remember correctly, your husband is AD military, right?  If so, I think you guys get a discount with WW.  I know a lot of military wives who use WW and love it.

Thanks, Escrime.  I'll have to check that out.  Looks like I'm going on it by myself, though.  He doesn't want to follow the plan, but he'll be eating what I make for dinner and I'm taking all the junk food out of the house, so he's bound to lose weight too.  He exercises WAY MORE than me as well.  So we'll see.

my husband didnt start with me either, he was so not into it. but then he started seeing me lose weight, saw that I was eating yummy foods and wasn't starving, then he started asking questions and learning too.
